Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Welcome to the Land of Happiness
Highlights: Paro Dzong, National Museum, Paro Town Walk
- Arrive at Paro International Airport, greeted by your Bhutanese guide with traditional hospitality.
- Visit the Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of the Heap of Jewels), an architectural masterpiece overlooking Paro River.
- Explore the National Museum (Ta Dzong), home to rare Bhutanese art, relics, and historical treasures.
- Enjoy an evening stroll through Paro Town, filled with charming shops, cafés, and traditional architecture.

Day 2: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
Highlights: Taktsang Monastery, Kyichu Lhakhang
- Begin your day with an inspiring hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan’s most iconic site perched on a 900-meter cliff.
- Learn about Guru Rinpoche, who meditated here in the 8th century and brought Buddhism to Bhutan.
- Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples built in the 7th century by King Songtsen Gampo.

Day 3: Paro to Thimphu – Bhutan’s Vibrant Capital (1.5 hrs drive)

- Descend into the subtropical valley of Punakha, once the capital of Bhutan.

- Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman, Drukpa Kunley.

Day 5: Punakha to Phobjikha Valley (3.5 hrs drive)
